Yorkshire and the Humber Microgeneration Partnership :
Online platform showcasing the Partnership Members profiles along with tips and advice on how to make your home or business more energy efficient.
A collaboration of installers, manufacturers, the Energy Saving Trust, and other advocates of renewable technology, the Partnership is the first of its kind in the UK, and now has over 40 members and is rapidly growing.
The Partnership’s aims are:
- to promote the installation of microgeneration technologies in Yorkshire and the Humber,
- to ensure high customer care and installation standards,
- to highlight best (and worst) practice in the microgeneration sector in the Region, and
- to represent the views of Yorkshire and Humber Microgeneration sector at a local, regional and national level as appropriate.
Amanda Botterill of Yorkshire Solar is Chair of the Partnership , supported by Vice Chair John Lightfoot of TEV Heatking and The Energy Saving Trust provides secretariat services.
The Partnership meets monthly, and membership is open to all MCS certified installers in the Yorkshire and Humber Region, and those working towards it, as well as manufacturers and advocates of renewable technology.
The Partnership also hosts the annual Yorkshire and Humber Microgeneration Conference and Awards, showcasing developments in the region and sharing best practice in the sector (link to MANY edition 14 on the Conference and Awards).
